Is shipping free? - Yes!

What will my Lem-Message look like? - You're Lem-Message will look like the Lem-Messages on our 360° video featured on our home page. Of course, the card may be different--depending upon your selection.

 

Does it really come in a clear plastic envelope?  - Yes!  Each “Lem-Envelope” is made of durable, clear plastic which makes your Lem-Message readable and highly visible from the moment it is shipped.  (It is also free-standing, so you can display it proudly on your office desk or anywhere for that matter!)  Additionally, each Lem-Envelope is very durable and protects your Lem-Message (and lemon) with a double closure, firstly with a zip-lock seal and secondly a tamperproof heat-seal for security and to ensures lemony freshness.

 

Won't my Lemon get "squeezed" in the mail? - Surprisingly No.  Lemons are more durable than you think.  Besides, with our Lem-Envelopes, the heavy plastic and natural air pocket when the Lem-Message is sealed, provide a soft cushion for your fresh fruit.

 

When will my Lem-Message arrive? - Orders are shipped the following business day from the time the order is placed. (For exa featured on our home page.  A clear, plastic “Lem-Envelope” comes standard.  It protects your personalized card and lemon with a double closure, firstly with a zip-lock seal and secondly a tamperproof heat-seal which provides security and ensures lemony freshness.  Message on Friday it will be shipped on Monday.

 

Can my Lem-Message be delivered on an exact date? - No, sorry. Shipping is more of an art than an exact science.

 

How do I get a tracking number? - After placing your order, you will receive an emailed confirmation with your tracking number. (Be sure that our emails have not been filtered into your "Promotions" or “Spam" folders.) This email will be sent the same day your order is shipped. Please note, if your order your Lem-Message on Friday evening (after business hours) you will receive the tracking information on Monday, when you Lem-Message is shipped.

 

How can I track my Lem-Message? - First, go to your emailed confirmation that was sent to you when your order was shipped. On this email you will find your tracking number. From there you can click the tracking number and be linked to the USPS website. Or, if you prefer, "Copy" and "Paste" the tracking number into our website via the Track Order page.

 

Do you ship Lem-Messages internationally? No, and here's why... The lifespan of a Lemon isn't that long. Because of this, shipping is restricted to the lower 48 United States. (Sorry, Hawaii and Alaska!) Another wrinkle in international shipping are agricultural laws which restrict the shipping of natural fruits over national borders. In the future, however, we plan to have a distribution site in Europe for orders overseas.

 

Do you ship to U.S. Military bases? Depending on the location, this may be possible. Please send us an email and we will quickly respond. Email: messagemaster@lemonmessage.com

Can I accidentally ship a Lem-Message to myself? Nope. You may deliberately ship a Lem-Message to yourself--some people do.  But if we feel you have made a mistake with the shipping information, we will contact you via email and confirm the shipping address.

SENDING "LEM-NONYMOUSLY"...

When I send a "Lem-Message" will the receiver know that I sent it? - The choice is yours. All Lem-Messages are marked with OUR shipping return address—not yours. So really, if you do not include your name in the custom message portion of the card, the receiver will never know who sent it!

 

What return address is printed on the Lem-Message shipping label? - All Lem-Messages, whether "Lem-nonymous" or not, are marked with our company mailing address. It will say "P.O.Box 301, Franklin, PA 16323." Your address will not be visible or made known to the receiver.

 

What can I say in my custom message? – Mostly anything. However, to ensure lemony freshness, keep it kind and clean. Le’me tell you, we do not tolerate vulgar, obscene, offensive, hateful, or blasphemous text.

 

What if I don’t follow these guidelines? – If your words are rotten, we will not put them on our fresh lemon. Instead, we will kindly email you and request a revision to your text submission. More on this can be found in our Terms of Use.

 

Can I change my message after I placed my order. – Perhaps. Send the Messsage Master an email immediately, as we do ship our lemons quickly. If it is’t too late, we’ll swap out the text.

What if I receive a “Lem-nonymous" Message? – We hope you do!

 

Will you tell me who sent it? – Le’me tell you, we take Lem-animosity very seriously. We will not reveal the identity of the sender unless, however, you feel threatened by the message. In this case we will notify the sender and reveal their identity to you.

OTHER RANDOM QUESTIONS...

Can I eat the Lemon? - Yes, absolutely! We’re not in the business of wasting food. Just be sure that the lemon hasn’t been punctured or somehow gone bad in shipping. In that case, we kindly forbid you to eat it!

 

Is the Lemon organic? - No, sadly.  Organic ones tend to look sickly--not as yellow, sometimes spotted, and lack the robust presentation of a regular Lemon. We want the receiver to have that "Wow" factor when they get a random fruit in the mail.

 

 

What else can I do with my Lemon? – Make lemonade, of course! But you can also plug it into a canoe (Ha!), squeeze its juice, use its zest for cooking, garnish a cocktail (if you’re of age) and in the end plant a few lemon trees.

 

Can I recycle my Lem-Message? – Yes! Depending on what types of plastics your local recycling center collects, each Lem-Message is 100% recyclable. Just remove any lemon peals—those can go into the compost pile.

 

So, Lem-messages aren't only for laughs but help also help the earth? - "SQUEEZE-cisley!"

 

It's so cool I don't want to open the package!  How long will my Lem-Message last before the lemon goes bad? - We recommend opening your Lem-Message right away!  The lifespan of a lemon varies, but can sometimes last weeks if refrigerated.  We don't recommend refrigerating your Lem-Message, however, or leaving the Lemon sealed in the Lem-Envelope too long.  (The paper will eventually dampen and draw moisture from the lemon...we've tested it.)

 

What if I don't see a Lem-Message for my occasion.  Do you make custom cards? - Yes and No.  At Lem-Message we try to cover most of life's occasions--but if you think of something else, send us a suggestion.  If we like it, we will add your card to our store.  And, in gratitude, we will give you a promo code for a free Lemon...with a Lem-Message of your choice!
